mini me & compliments

met up with my uni frenz yesterday, frenz of 5 yrs.... had thought that i was going for a bbq, but miscomm..... was actually a gathering over pizza and kfc heehee.... it didn't mean less fun though! was so good, we haven't met since last yr's chinese new yr dinner.... caught up with what everyone was doing, knowing how many times they've job-hopped etc....

did i tell you i have few of the funniest classmates in my life? all the jokes, and their silly hide & seek game they played at the whole 2 levels of S4 (south spine at NTU), how the guys used to jog past block 72 at night, shout for me from the carpark (my first room then was by the main road), and then we'd chat... & also as memorable was the time jx drove me ard w/o a licence, and i fuckin' didn't know it until a few days later..... my jaw almost dropped. that very night, they sent me back to hall and we rallied along the stretch of road between hall 11 to hall 12, at 5am in the morning, for about 4 times to and fro.... hahahaha...... that was like 4-5 yrs ago......

very interestingly, we did some sort of class activity.... making our own doorgifts..... actually yanz was making some children's day gifts for her pupils, we were so fascinated by how they shrinking plastic sheet works, we made our own handphone rings too....

hostess, yanz. she's a chinese teacher now and we heard her stories of horrible kidz and how she managed them..... never knew she could be such a fierce teacher... phew, i'm glad i wasn't one of her naughty kidz.....

this is like some pri sch kidz taking candid class photo..... who doesn't like the all-time signature ''twist'-on-the-head' prank? (hahahha did i say 'twist'? remember 'twist' as in catching/police-and-thief', when you stick out two 'V' signs, squat & freeze so the catcher can't catch you?)

anyway, last week, i felt truely happy at work..... my boss commended me for a piece of work i did and for a long time in my life at work, i felt appreciated or at least, the things i do was appreciated....... yeah, he said 'well-done'. its just two simple words and it made my day. this shows that some times little gestures that seem insignificant may have a big impact on some one else.
