Bad bad news....

Life's definitely all about ppl coming into and exiting your life..... But recently its been ppl coming OUT of my life.... sad.

the other day i was out with ai lin and weiling to discuss abt my shopping list for ai lin's US trip, happily chatting and enjoying our steak.....

when i went home that night, my sis turned to me and gave me a serious look and said in the most serious tone 'ting, i have a very bad news for you.'

i looked at her and thought that it has to do with my father (cos my dad hasn't been quite healthy lately..). the feeling beneath was scary

'4th uncle(my dad's 4th brother, dad is the fifth son) is very ill, he most prob will not make it.....he's brain-dead and now the family is just waiting to turn off the life supporter'

guilty to say that i was a little relieve to hear its not abt my dad but it wasn't any better..... my father's closest bro was dying.... juz about 4 mths after the demise of their 2nd brother....

and the latest news as of today is that he has passed away this morning...

I feel very upset for my father as he has lost two bros in such a short time. i dun really know if they were really close before but whatever it is, there are blood ties... he sure will feel sadness..... but the thing with my dad is that he dun show his emotion and he dun show his feelings on his facial expression. its worrying not knowing how he feel or how he's coping psychologically....

btw the death of my 4th uncle was pretty much a sudden one.... he had brain cancer that was not detected/diagnosed by docters when he seeked help for his headache. and before he could go to a follow-up consultation, he went into coma in his slp and passed away shortly afterwards.

lesson learnt: dun wait till departure like this happens before you know that you should cherish your loved ones

busy busy week ahead.
