Interview Season Begins...

yesh.... the interview season begins... juz for this week, i have 4 interviews.... incl one tml...

all are marketing-related,

1. Monday - in a top research company which i had to do a case study on the spot and make a presentation to the interviewers. case study was interesting but i hopelessly flopped in this particular qn one of the interviewers asked with regards to venn diagram. Fuck. i always know my maths and stats are not good but i never know i'll be shamed by them in an interview.... now when i look into the mirror when i brush my teeth, i'll recall and laugh AT myself..... i flopped another qn in which the interviewers asked....shame on me.

2. Thursday morning - an interview with a leading japanese automobile firm for the post of market analyst (damn, another stats-related one). this one needs to have knowledge in spss (despite flunking stats twice, taking the module thrice and having 3 diff textbooks by 3 diff great authors, i still know nuts about spss, but i'm willing to learn ok...). luckily they din get me to do some spss shit on the spot or i'll probably sink into depression for flopping two interviews in a row... interviewers were a local and a japanese guy and a lady assistant. saw a friend who applied for the same job too.... i dun mind not getting this job, and if i dun, i hope she gets it....

3 Thursday afternoon - an interview at this agency for the position of marketing exec with a company in the fmcg industry (yeah!!!) interview was an hour of indepth questioning. was bombarded with many many many marketing-related qns, case scenarios etc... think i was quite steady leh... hahaha.... if successfully shortlisted, u'll see me marketing a certain personal care product (i think so) in...... 3rd world countries like cambodia, laos and vietnam, and thailand.... i'm serious, not kidding here... sounds interesting right? 3rd world countries.... (she asks if i mind these places, of course i dun, i told her sandusky is like a 3rd world country too and i survived 4 mths there w/o proper public transport and handphone....) pray that i get this one.....

4 Friday - interview for the position of marketing exec with this company that produces delicious snacks, a brand you always see during chinese new year, famous for their nuts.....obvious hint huh.... let's see how it goes.... was telling gi about it and being a macademia nut siao she's hoping i get into this comp and get her tonnes of free nuts. yah, pray hard gal....

just now joyce told me she got this lobang for teaching....... in china. duh... in a soundingly ulu place call shandong..... go there eat shandong peanuts kekeke.... its a 2 weeks assignment in feb and paying 1.5k + accommodation..... den i asked if the plane tix were provided, she said she gotta find out. i mean if its prov then its a good deal, otherwise..... well, could be a good experience.... i'm never quite interested in going to china, but then again, nothing to lose.....

however, i'll prob not take up this offer, cos i OPTIMISTICALLY think that i should get some kind of job appli replies by then..... i've been bumming for so long liao i'm so gonna seize every chance to stop contributing to the unemployment statistics....
