My Christmas 2005

what did u do this christmas? mine's quite the usual thing, had little dinner gatherings and parties..... first up it was dinner with my sec sch cum 'keep-fit' buddy! had dinner at ichiban boshi (used to be unable to remember its name even though having dined there for like twice....now i can!) lemme count we've been friends since sec 1.... so its like 10 yrs of friendship now......

here's chun yan et moi...... cy is so thoughtful.... she got me a lime-green nike dri-fit tee for me to work out in..... haha....she had this gift idea after we were engaged in great plans to keep-fit through gym sessions, swimming, tennis hahaha..... so nice.... thanx!

here's peiyin & beau, nick. lovely couple who've been together for ....... i dunno, like 4 yrs? now holidaying in melacca, so sweet.... i remember for py's 21st bdae last yr, the others and i got this rainbow stripe-y bikini for her... i was the one who bought the bikini and i liked it so much i got a similar set for myself heehee..... in our gift exchange, i got nick's gift, which was a book titled 'Up Your Service'. honestly, at first i frowned the idea of receiving a book cos i dun have a reading habit and i really dun quite like to read but it turns out that the book seems quite useful to me for my future career and interesting even juz for leisure reading..... a-hem.... i got A for my services marketing module last yr ok...... but for future gift idea purpose, pls dun give me story books, esp those fictitious ones. i'd rather spend my time reading my full set of encyclopedia....

peijin and suemei (who's newly baptised name, seraph). pj was a school belle back in sec sch and i bet u can see why (sorry guys, she's taken). suemei is single and available though, interested ones, pls msg me kekeke..... (she'll kill me for doing this). on christmas day itself, i was invited by sue to her water baptism ceremony at her church. first time watching such ceremony. pretty interesting. know what? i saw my sec sch physics teacher there, and she happens to be from sue's cg. best thing is, miss chee remembers my name even after 6 years! normally teachers will remember two kinds of students, the very notorious ones and the very good ones. i belong to the latter category : )

then it was a gift exchange day with the astro peeps (its pretty surprising that we're still good friends now, cos we're only from the same ECA in jc and that was a mere 2 yrs of our lives but the friendship lasted long and strong.....) we've been meeting up like at least every 2 weeks, if not, every once in a week.....

and for the gift exchange, i presented my nicely packaged victoria's secret box. damn, i'm so glad i brought back these beautiful boxes even though they added a significant weight to my luggage. i'd rather leave my nice tees in the US than to abandon these nice boxes.... each box comes complete with an nice black ribbon (already nicely tied in a bow and has an elastic band with it), a gift tag and two pieces of pink 'tissue' for wrapping the gift).

so everyone has a gift! mine happen to come from burpies.... man, to think i've been giving him gift ideas all the while. and where are my diamonds and chocolates? apparently he didn't heed my advice..... i kept 'educating' him that diamonds are a girl's bestfriend..... nvm lah....i can wait till next yr..... next yr remember hor!

this is juz one of the bo liao things we do with our cameras. pardon us.

show u something funny..... nope, we din paste the paper there..... its a design on the tee. we thought its very 'burpies' so we got it for him for his bdae this yr..... it looks so real that chris's sis innocently asked us when did we paste the paper on his back.... then again, he quite thick-skin also, dare to wear it out...... btw i got him a funny tee from US oso cos i thought its quite 'burpies' too. the shirt has this printing in front that says 'i see your lips are moving but all i can hear is 'blah blah blah.....' hahaha... he himself has one other shirt that says 'i'm a virgin' with smaller prints below saying 'this is an old shirt'. haha... i like this kind of funny shirts.....

i remember i gave someone this black tee i got in ny chinatown and it has two female silhouttes in the front. one of the silhouttes is those normal plain-jane ladies sign u see on toilet signs and that's 'Your Girlfriend'. the other one is the silhoutte of a sexy curvaceous babe something like what u see below on the zippo lighter and that's 'My Girlfriend' (too bad, i tried to look for the exact tee-shirt design online but can't find..... the silhouttes are in red and the tee is qute cool heeee....)

and when i was trying to find that t-shirt design, i came across one with these words,

'Uranus. Where your prison-mate launches his probe. '

that's if u get what the message means....... *cheeky*

okok anyway, another thing i did on christmas day was to be at a BBQ with my family at sembawang park....

i dunno where my uncle managed to get a raft and they went rafting in the sea... looks fun but i din try it cos i was lazy to change into the wet attire i brought....

then we went back to my gramp's to play with this parrot that'll say hello to you when it climbs on to your shoulder..... and this bird dances to trance music! so cute and so fun!

unfortunately yesterday i got news that the parrot flew away from my gramp's place..... sad.... no more entertainment from the parrot.... if u spot a red and purple parrot in the sembawang vicinity, that could be 'hello', as we call it......

oh i got 2 nice surprises in my inbox.... i got an email from vlado! haha.... i'm so happy..... he mailed me to tell me he got my present (a christmas card and a merlion lighter...) and that he nearly cried when he got it cos he's really happy and glad i remember him..... the card reached him much earlier than i expected. btw he's the foul-mouth slovakian bitch i mentioned before.... haha...well he's not as bad as i made him sound to be like..... juz call him that for fun.... and wait....he's not a gay i think.

the other surprise was this e-greeting from Ewa, a polish who worked in sweets and treats. we are not very close given the fact we worked in diff outlets but we sure had some nice and truthful conversations when we had the opportunities to 'eat snake and chat'. we'll talk about relationship stuff cos, she, like me, had some long-distance thing going on then..... enjoyed chatting to her then but i din make any effort to keep in contact. and so when she emailed me, i was overwhelmed by her thoughtfulness. Man was i lucky to have friends like them!

the new year is coming, i have some new year resolutions to make. how abt you? right now i haven't finalise my new year resolution list and when i do, i'll talk abt it...... till then, good luck!
