Carlos!

Some time in June 2005, i remember posting a photo blog, tastefully named 'Photo Blog' and one last paragraphs and pix was this:

'oh yah...... i think i mentioned abt these heels i spotted and loved so much but thought were a little too expensive ..... ok.... they are the ones.... the one on the left is this carlos brand and the right is nine west. i like both.... the carlos one cost usd29.90 and the nine west one is usd35 ..... hmmm....which one do u think is nicer? i'm starting to like the carlos one more and more and more..... the design is special and nice, its those very chic kinda design, a little retro yet modern in another sense.... but the heels are a little too high leh..... i'm afraid that i might avoid wearing it after i buy them..... nvm.... for now, i'll ren first then see got further discount anot.... '

u see, initially i couldn;t make up my mind which to buy right.... saying i'll wait and see if there are further discounts anot..... well, the GOOD NEWS is that there were indeed discounts some time before i left. and i managed to get the nine west pair at 12usd bucks.... original price before the previous discount is like 60 plus usd, then went down to 34 plus which i tot was expensive.... well, i got it not because that's my favourite of the two, but cos the carlos ones were OUT OF STOCK! goodness gracious, the price of the carlos pair was slashed to 11usd. original ones would have cost 80 or 90 plus. damn it, my desired size was out! i was almost shattered.... by then, even if there wasn't a sale, i would still get it at 29.90usd....damn it....

why would i suddenly bring the shoes up? well, i simply can't forget about them.... i actually searched online to look for them but to no avail. the design was pretty old i guess..... otherwise it wouldn't have ended up at TJ Maxx. man, i love TJ Maxx. search thorough enough and u'll definite get real good deals. like rachel with her liz clairborne handbags and organisers (not that i use organisers) and her two bcbg crystal studded jackets..... shopping tips: TJ Maxx stuff are even cheaper than those in factory outlets ok! so if u're going us, do find out where u can find them. the brands u can find there ranges from nike to polo, roxy to tommy and other mid-high end brandnames...

ok, backtrack.... anyway, juz wanna say that next time if u like something juz grab it lah.... btw while looking for the shoes, i found out that the Carlos shoes label is launched by carlos santana! notice that label, there's a guitar in the logo..... i shud have realised man.... oh i love the shoes.....they're so ....... carlos!

haiz, nevermind.... i believe i can get nice shoes from charles and keith oso.... plus they're cheap..... hmmmm...... i miss shopping in america.... it brought out the shopping maniac in me.... (well, but i think i'm the least or the second last shopping freak amongst my 3 other travelling mates...keke)

i found it! after much online search, i found the shoes i want at this damn but they dun have black anymore.... boo hoo!!! and the price is twice as much as the ones at TJ Maxx....hmmm..... shall look ard more....
