My Chicago Trip!

setting off to go rent a car to start our road trip to chicago...

pooling money for car, fuel, toll, car park etc......

josh, our driver test-driving the car....

yeah....we've reached chicago........chicago skyline.......

famous magnificent mile, michigan ave (dunno why its named michigan even thought the street is in chicago, illinois....)

went to the cheesecake factory, a restaurant at john hancock tower........yummy...... lthe name would have told u what the specialties are....and they're indeed yummy....

this posh restaurant sells an array of cheesecakes....... it has some kinda jumbo cake which i forgot they're names....

watched a street puppet show...... there're many street performers there.....

passed by the hershey's shop..... decided to drop by and see see....

on the first night in chicago, we went to navy pier, its like a very small scale amusement park....

know what? I've been to COYOTE UGLY in Chicago!!! it was late at night, like 12 plus in the morning when a group of us walked to the club, yearning to see some action there........ but diaoz..... did i mention it was a tuesday night so the business there was very slow that nite....damn it....

rainforest cafe

went to a really nice macdonald's (trust me, its the nicest mac i've seen in my life,
with a mac museum inside). took photo with a pair of shuai ge bros.....

the mac has many nice chairs inside.... took photo on one..... someone commented it looks like a saloon shot....kekekekekekekeke.....

went to the skydeck of sears tower, one of the tallest building in the world, caught the panoramic view of chicago and probably four other neighbouring states. man was it cool!

i like the words at the back, show me another city so glad to be alive. ok dun be bothered by josh in the pix. he does that in every other pix......

then we went to the chinatown there.... not many pix from there. but tell ya.... we went to eat MALAYSIAN food at this place penang. it sells malaysian and some singaporean food..... oh my god. can u believe how thrilled we were then? after not touching home country food for more than two months then..... had curry chicken with rice, hainanese chix rice's rice, penang laksa, penang char kuay teow.....

next up, buckingham fountain! this is one majestically huge fountain so big that i gotta stand quite a distance away to capture the whole fountain.

then from buckinghamn fountain,, we walked to another really interesting place, millenium park. erm well, its marked by the mass of structure that looks very much like scrap metal..... we drove by the place the day before and was wondering what it was.......

took a bad shot..... later found out that this already bad shot wasn't that bad afterall...... its more like a funny shot... look, there's an idiot trying to 'seize the limelight'.....

back to millenium park..... ok, its a very beautiful place.... this name might ring a bell to those ppl who knows alot abt american pop music cos alot of singers and bands have held concerts here. wish i could be there when there's one concert. its a beautiful place to be in. alot of ppl were there juz to lie on the grass and read books, chat etc.....

went to this famous pizza place call giordano's (yep.....familiar name but the one here sells pizza, not denim...) look at its pizza...... dun it looks like a raspberry flan..... okok..... the filling is really thick and its really good....

its so irresistable....look at that ridiculous amt of cheesy mozarella....... (pls ignore josh)
