Fruitful Week!

Hey peeps!

I'm back! haven been blogging for many many days liao.... why? cos there're so much things going on and my blogging can't keep up with them.... (do i make sense anyway?)

Last week, i went Niagara Falls!!!! Finally! yeah.... now got another spot in 'places-to-go-before-i-die' struck off the list liao! i've always wanted to be there since dunno when..... probably the time i watched this documentary on the falls at singapore discovery centre or omnimax theatre when i was in lower sec.... took damn lotsa pix of the falls and with the falls...... took maid of the mist, the boat that brought us near the falls, took a cave walk at the foot of the falls etc....

got my passport ready

got a visitor passport....its kinda like a package that allows me to visit several attractions within niagara falls state park.... and off i go!

hmmmm.....go to niagara of course muz take lotsa pix..... so i did...

aiyah.... how come got an ah neh in the pix..... nvm, take again....

u get to see rainbow almost everywhere u go.... the boats in the pix is maid of the mist....

gonna board the maid of the mist. there's this 'souvenir' poncho they give out that we gotta wear, cos we;re gonna get really get from all the mist from the falls.... gal beside me is xueli, oso from ntu biz....

on board of the boat....risked my digi-cam and tried taking pix despite all the mist and moisture..... its worth the risk though....

then the next stop is a walk in the cave of the winds,where u get really close to the water falls.....

then we went up to this deck call the hurricane deck which is juz in front of one of the falls. i believe its named hurricane deck cos u're supposed to feel the effects of a hurricane standing on it.... this is probably my favourite part of the trip....

ok, that's me....

besides waterfalls, i took a pix with a cute l'il ger too....

she's so cute that i wanna bring her back to singapore.....

we went to the hard rock cafe there too.... din buy souvenirs though, was thinking if getting shot glasses but its would be diff to bring it back to singapore and i dun think i'm interesting in dusting the glasses as they collect dust at home.....so decided not to buy.

then went to get some ice cream........ man.....twist of the mist has a wide selection of ice cream..... prob more than 50 of them.....spent quite some time in deciding which flavour to get and of course, gotta take pix of the cute door front......

one wish fulfilled..... really thrilled to be there, but sad to say, its a little diff from what i have in mind......prob smaller andthe area is much built up. i wish i have more time there so i could go to the three sisters islands and goat island which i missed due to time constraint....would love to watch the night lights of niagara falls too.... if u got a chance, do go there!
