happy!

yeah, i'm back...... where did i end? ooohhh.... yep.... the part where i had to leave for the rides.... hehehe..... i've tried most of them liao, except for the major and the potent ones..... not cos i scared k...... its the blardy weather...... the major ones were closed due to the weather conditions...... remember it kinda rained a little b4 i went, and it was pretty cold..... the weather's been fluctuating around 10 plus degrees celcius and when i asked the locals, most said that its pretty unusual that its still so cold at this point of time.... been wanting to get a nice jacket but then started to think that it'll be summer in a few wks time so erm..... thinking of making do with that blue fila jacket i always wear (and yeah, that's the one i'm wearing in MOST of the pix.....)...

alright, back to the rides.... i told ya to chk out cedar point's webbie to take a look at the awesome roller coasters it has, din i? alright, of those i've sat on, the most memorable one is this:

ok, its the two yellow vertical tracks that u see in the pix..... are u thinking that this ain't the regular roller coaster u normally see where the track juz go round and round and do those 360 degrees stunts?

ok, this wicked twister is one of its kind. the ride starts in the middle, and with a zoom...... it started off by zooming to one side of the track (the seats are all facing the same directions) and up the vertical track, then it zoomed backwards, even faster, to the other side....... it took off so freaking fast that i was caught off guard and my legs (dangling from the seat) were kinda thrown backwards by the impact and hit the bottom of the seat....ouch! and the tracks extend really far up into the sky......

since the front seats were taken, my friend and i took on the last row, which i believed is second best to the front row....... ans when the thing moved backwards and up vertically, my whole body weight is practically supported by the protective guard thingy........ i can't quite imagine what will happen if it shud give way..... eeks....

in the background are all the other roller coasters and the white structure is called the power tower which gives a feeling of free fall......

the otherride which was rather special is the mantis, in which riders stand, and not sit while on the roller coaster. i had thought that it'll be quite scary but it turned out to be quite acceptable.... as in i wun fear having to take that again...(alright this pix are taken from the internet, its not quite convenient to bring a camera along when u're gonna take roller coasters)

there's this ride which i'm quite interested but haven taken due to the weather and prob a little fear..... and its the dragster.....

its supposed the fastest roller coasters and the tallest one in the world (i heard that the one at six flags (yah, its SIX flags, the amusement park, not EIGHT flags, the comp shop haha) is a little faster and a few feet taller.... ok whatever...) its 420 feet and 120 miles per hour (which is like 200km/hr?) i think it looks a little intimidating..... its so high up there and its so fast and there's a sharp bend at its peak so it practically goes up vertically and comes down vertically too.....

there are also others which are real fast..... i've heard of accidents where seagulls (the park's by a lake so there're lotsa seagulls) kinda flew into the way of the roller coasters, crashed into passengers and break their noses and stuff...... i overheard someone on the bus that he was in the booth selling pix of passengers as souvenir and he was surprised to see that someone's shirt has patches of red only to find out later that its dunno the seagull's blood or the guy's blood..... keke....

alright enuff abt rides.... let's tok abt my self...

here's my room..... ok hall room is much much better (the only thing that;s good is the a/c cum heater thingy)..... its a 3 person dorm room but only 2 of us are staying inside....

here's the view from the window.... across the road is a yatch broker, and the place has a nice name called the venetian marina...... so i see many many many many yatchs everyday.....

this is my roomie, wendy. she;s from nus fass, yr 1. we came on the same day thus became roomies.....

and as requested by lili, whom i guess misses me so so much, here's my zi nian pix....kekekke

here's a pix taken in the toilet.... there are four shower cubicles with only curtains and no doors and three toilet cubicles and occasionally there're guys coming into the toilet to use the tap..... got a little shock when i saw one the first time.....

oh yah, the other day we had a farewell celeb for one of the guys who were leaving..... so we went mac.....

its a whole lot of s'poreans....

ya know what? i've juz chked my results..... my fyp got B..... erm....not bad lah.... the others are like ABB...... and i got honours, 2nd class (lower)!!!!!! yeah....so so happy..... tot would be a pass with merit only.... keke.....congrats me k! haha.....

i'm so happy i can;t slp..... okok...cannot gotta wake up at 6.30 am tml....think i gtg liao.... take care k!
